The City of Meriden offers a wide range of employment opportunities. Our Department of Personnel is led by Director Caroline Beitman. Her jobs and tasks includes serving as the Secretary of the Municipal Pension Board, representing the City at arbitration and State Labour Board Hearings, and advising the department heads on disciplinary matters and legal issues that relate to employees. Caroline also serves as mediator of in-house issues in order to avoid more formal, costly procedures.
